JUKKA HAAVISTO - LÖYLY SYNDICATE
Nordic Fusion. Finno-Ugric Melodies. Modern Electric Rituals.
JUKKA HAAVISTO - LÖYLY SYNDICATE is the new international ensemble led by Finnish bassist and composer Jukka Haavisto. The group blends Finno-Ugric melodic roots, Nordic jazz atmospheres and the electric pulse of contemporary fusion into a sound world that is both ancient and forward-looking.
The name “löyly” - the rising steam and spirit of the Finnish sauna - captures the heart of the project: transformation, intensity and the deep, breathing warmth of northern culture.
Haavisto’s signature voice on the fretless electric bass, where melody, harmony and rhythm flow as a single instrument, forms the core of the group’s sound. Around it, the band builds a rich, dynamic and cinematic sonic landscape.
